~ The Southeast Black Racing, Coluber constrictor priapus which is recognized by a black dorsum and standing greyish or black venter;
~ The Black-masked racer, Coluber constrictor latrunculus, recognized by a standing greyish dorsum, a bluish greyish venter and a wide black red stripe behind the eye;
~ The Southeast yellow-bellied racer, Coluber constrictor flaviventris recognized by an olive natural dorsum and a mild yellow-colored venter;
~ The Tan racer, Coluber constrictor etheridgei, recognized by a mild tan dorsum with some mild finding and a gray white-colored venter; and
~ The Buttermilk racer, Coluber constrictor anthicus, recognized by a red, blue-black or blue-green dorsum with a varying quantity of mild finding and a gray white-colored venter.
Despite their Latina name, Competitors are NOT constrictors. They search feed, with their go organised great, when it is identified, they competition towards it, take it and then take it in existence. They may eat on bigger feed until they quit having difficulties.
Racers lay grip of 6 to 18 granular white-colored egg from July through Sept in such locations as smooth wet ground beside rotting records, in rotting timber pulp or in downturns in sections of lawn. The hatchlings don't look like the grownups and have light-colored systems with dark lines along the returning and factors.
