A cup is a device of statistic generally used when calculating foods or fluid when planning recipes. Glasses evaluate quantity. A qt. is a device of statistic generally used to evaluate quantity as well. Because both models evaluate quantity, one can be turned into the other.

Converting Whole Glasses to Quarts
       
1. Add the actual variety of cups you have. For this example, let's use 8 cups.
       
2. Increase the variety of cups by 0.25 (or 1/4).
   
3. Complete the variety of quarts in accordance with the computation. For this example, 8 x 0.25 = 2. Therefore, 8 cups is equal to 2 qt.

4. Add the actual variety of cups you have. For example, let's use 2 1/2 cups, or 2.5 cups.
   
5. Increase the variety of cups by 0.25 (or 1/4). For this example, multiply 2.5 by 0.25.
   
6. Complete the variety of quarts in accordance with the computation. For this example, 2 1/2 cups is equal to 0.625 quarts, or almost 2/3 of a qt..
